Education & Training
My clinical experience overall (including training and employment) spans over 20 years and two countries (Greece and the UK) and includes 13 years of studying. I studied, lived and worked in London for 15 years. In 2002, I obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology from London Guildhall University. I then continued my studies and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Counselling Psychology from London Metropolitan University in 2007. In 2010, I obtained an Advanced Practitioner Diploma in Counselling Psychology (PgDip) from the same university.
During my training as a Counselling Psychologist my clinical supervised placements took place at Falmouth Road Group Practice in London between 2003-2005, at the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (PRA) – Centre for Better Health (C4BH) in London (2008-2010), at Westminster Mind Counselling Service, London (2008), and at Epping Forest Primary Care and Psychological Therapy Service-North Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, London (2008-2009).
My training as a Counselling Psychologist required supervised clinical placements in at least two different therapeutic models, primarily using CBT as the main model, with psychodynamic and humanistic as secondary approaches.
As part of my commitment to the expansion of my knowledge, I also completed a Postgraduate Diploma on Clinical Skills based on the Cognitive Analytic model and Relational Psychotherapy at the Institute for Relational and Group Psychotherapy (ΙΣΟΨ, Athens).
Moreover, as part of my continuing professional development I have completed the didactic part of training including 24 courses (4 year duration) at the Tampa Bay Institute for Psychoanalytic Studies (T-BIPS, Florida, USA),
My current studies involve a psychotherapy program with limited admission to advanced clinicians, "The Online Topic - Oriented Psychotherapy Program (TOPP)" with the current topic being "The Luminaries of the Interpersonal Approach" at the William Alanson White Institute (WAWI) in New York, which will further deepen my clinical knowledge.

Continuing Professional Development
Therapists are responsible for identifying their own intrapsychic and interpersonal patterns that may either facilitate or hinder the therapeutic process. Over the years, personal and group therapy with certified clinicians has been integral to my personal growth and professional development.
To support my professional development and to enhance ethical and clinical sensitivity that helps integrate theory, research and practice coherently, I systematically engage in ongoing studies as well as attend academic and experiential training workshops, seminars, and conferences in Relational Psychoanalysis and Counselling Psychology.
Supervision
Over the years depending on my employment and professional needs, I have maintained continuous clinical supervision with experienced Counselling and/or Clinical Psychologists, as well as Relational Psychoanalysts, to ensure ethical and effective practice.
Some of my supervisors include:
2015–Present: Ι receive ongoing supervision from Dr. Spyros Orfanos, Ph.D., ABPP – Director and Clinical Professor, NYU Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis
2015–2022: As part of my work at the Institute for Relational and Group Psychotherapy(ΙΣΟΨ) I received group supervision from Dr. Darlene Ehrenberg – Author of “The Intimate Edge” and faculty member at the William Alanson White Institute
